Calendar - Genoud Arts Graphiques

Every two years, the Genoud Art graphique’s calendar is the opportunity to show the printing house knowledges, including its world-renowned two-color printing mastery. For the 2015 edition, AM Studio offers to Genoud Art graphique a concept based on print characters history through the time.
A selection of nine letters, with different shapes and proportions, typography evolution representers, are chronologically assigned to the calendar pages. A knife-cutting form has been designed for each of them.
Superimposed by groups of three, letters create a set of windows that can be open, month after month, to discover black and white pictures.
The calendar aspect is intentionally centered on its decorative part. Nevertheless, the information aspect is not neglected. Dates, silk screened and printed, highlight techniques show above.
The black and white pictures have been taken in September 2014 by Alexandre Meylan in Iceland.
