Day 5 of the Daily UI Challenge - design an app icon.

Here is the icon for a side project I'm currently working on.
I've never designed an app icon before, and this challenge has been a really great way to get into designing areas I haven't explored before.

I've spent most of the past few years in the UX side of things, so I would really appreciate comments from more experienced UI Designers.
