'Delete email' animation

Saw a similar kind of microinteraction when I deleted an email on the Gmail app on my Android device and decided to recreate it. With my limited knowledge of After Effects, this is what I came up with. Currently, I am trying my hand at creating various microinteractions to finesse my interaction design skills. Would love some feedback!
