Malteeze

I called this "Malteez" because something about it reminded me of the Maltese Falcon sculpture from the movie. There was a turning point somewhere along the line when I started to go a bit heavier on the line-work with my art, and then began to experiment by dropping the outlines and limiting my colors. This is when I notices that there was this sort of "primitive woodcut" type thing developing, and it surprised me because it wasn't my intention at all to produce work that looked tribal in nature. But it's something I'm very proud of and embrace very much.
