Daily UI #13 - Direct messaging app chatbox

Another Daily UI challenge. This time I wanted to try a new approach to layout and proportions. I had been reading up on the 8-point grid system, and Google's Material Design, so I really wanted to experiment with basing a design on these principles. This chat app interface uses an 8 column grid and elements based on increments of 8px.
