OLX — Platform for Buying New Flats

Brief:
OLX, founded in 2006, is an Argentinian global online marketplace—operating in 45 countries and is the largest online classified ads company in India, Brazil, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, and Ukraine. They wanted to launch a platform where people can buy flats in new buildings that are still under the construction. I had to conduct research and deliver a UX design for this project.

What I did:
I conducted whole UX design process—using Stanford Design School methodology—starting from the ethnographic research and ending up with a user testing.

Why this way:
All the decisions that I made during this process are based on the research results and user portraits I made right in the beginning.

For example, the research showed that people focus on the building company while searching for the new flat as there are many scams and frauds in the CIS market. That's why we focused on providing as much information about the developer as possible, including ratings and all of his projects and buildings.
