Random carpet inspired illustration

So I was thankful enough to watch some inspirational design sessions today. As I was sitting in one of them I noticed some cool shapes on the floor, decided to snap a photo and felt like creating a quick pattern based off the floor while I was waiting between sessions. Thought I would share.
