Paper Visual Art Journal is a mainly online journal of art criticism, established in 2009 by Niamh Dunphy. Adrian Duncan has been co-editor of this online and hard-copy publication from 2009 to present. PVA was established in response to a lack of serious critical writing at the time about the visual arts in Ireland. Now based between Dublin and Berlin, PVA aims to continue to create a forum for the publication of engaged, clear, accessible writing on art topics that aren’t being addressed elsewhere. This is the Limerick edition, published in 2011.
