After Effects

After Effects, in additional to principle, is one of the major tools I use on a daily basis to animate and prototype more advance functionality for myself, product managers and engineers to help determine the best ux and to best represent my ideas.

Over the years I have learned a lot of different tricks and plugins that have been really helpful in being able to quickly turn my ideas into real projects. Some of my favorite plugins are:

- Motion 2: Great tool for quickly repeating the same animation for your keyframes. (http://www.mtmograph.com/motion/)
- Move Anchor Point: Snaps the anchor point to give you more control of moving and resizing your layers. (http://www.batchframe.com/extras/info/Move%20Anchor%20Point)
- gifGun: Amazing and easy tool to export your animations to gifs. Great for also resizing and making gifs for dribbble. (http://aescripts.com/gifgun/)
- Eaze and Wizz: More control on animating properties. (http://aescripts.com/ease-and-wizz/)
- Shapes and Masks: Gives you more control to create shapes and masks. (http://aescripts.com/shapes-and-masks/)
