Red Sox Scores: August 19, 2017

Game No. 122

New York starter CC Sabathia returned from the disabled list on Saturday night and kept Boston under control for six innings. Although Red Sox starter Chris Sale pitched well, he got tagged for two home runs which would end up being the difference in the game. The Sox seemed like they were ready to make a late inning comeback but the Yankee bullpen was able to close the door and propel their team to victory.

For every Red Sox game this season, @Amy Parker and I are visualizing the final score. Our ground rules: scores must be posted before the first pitch of the next game and must represent the final score. Home games are on a white background, away games on black, and the Red Sox are always red. Follow the whole project here or get weekly recaps in your inbox.
