This was the beginning stages of placing a logo mark into context with all it's peripheral buddies of the brand system. From here, I can get a sense of the potential the system has as a whole.
Here, we started implementing a custom typeface and paired it with several other typefaces to see if everyone was vibin'. Twas not the case :( so we ended up moving to a different pairing in the end. As far as color, that is something we felt very confident in considering @Summer Teal Simpson Hitch 's killer strategy work.
I know this approach is not ideal, but working backwards from an unfinished system sometimes gets me moving forward in the right direction, or even spark a new idea for an element that the brand system may benefit from.
