I've had an account over at Sketchfab for a little while now to look at all the awesome 3D that people are sharing. I realized they had a SketchUp exporter which would allow me to export and share a model I made for a recent exhibit project. Feels like I'm playing with Duplos compared to some of the amazing work over on Sketchfab, but I thought some other designers might be interested in this use case.
Our team used SketchUp to help visualize an exhibit space and test placement of over 60 elements before we printed a single piece. We used a Google Cardboard SketchUp viewer to get a feel for the space, and test our sizing for accessibility.
