Hey Dribbble friends,
I was playing around with two types of motion transitions when going from a gallery to a detail page and wanted to get your opinion about it as well.
In this shot you can see both options prototyped in @Framer:
1. The first basically brings the detail page closer to the user by animating its scale and taking over the background. The background isn't modified by the transition.
2. Second one is pretty similar BUT it actually scales and moves the background so it feels like you are zooming in the content.
Overall the challenge here will be to dynamically load the bigger asset to avoid crossfading the transition but that's another story. See full video attached.
