I designed this pin a few months ago for Resistance Pins, an organization that sells political resistance themed designer enamel pins and donates all of the proceeds to the Southern Poverty Law Center.
I was inspired by the French Resistance movements that fought against Nazi occupation during WWII. France has a great tradition of scripts, so scripts are usually my go-to solution when I need to give something a French look. That said, French scripts do not come easily to me, so this little pin put up quite the fight.
The final design was initially produced in soft enamel in a limited quantity of 50. Those sold out in just a couple days, so the pin was recently brought back in glorious hard enamel!
