Daily Logo Challenge
Day 3
A logo I designed as part of a Daily Logo Challenge, which I've been participating. The prompt for this logo design was "Hot Air Balloon Company." My mind immediately went to some kind of iconography of just a balloon or something, but I thought that would be expected and cliche. I decided to come up with a "stamp-like" logo that would still allow for the use of iconography, but to include some slogans and branding as well. I ended up with the design you see now, and feel as though it still lacks something. I'm not particularly fond of the way that it stamps onto paper, but the design itself I think is successful. Before setting out on a design, I thought about what this logo would need to accomplish. It should convey immediately what the company is about, what they do, and their experience all within a couple of seconds of viewing. I think that this accomplishes those goals, but any additional input or critiques would be greatly appreciated.
