Originally a design for a 'Bootleg Bart' brief, inspired by the knockoff/bootleg t-shirts featuring crudely drawn, bizarro versions of the Simpsons character smoking weed or attacking Sadam but to name a few. I went with the only 90s burn I could think of along with the sea of birthday badges (Bart's been ten for about twenty six years now! Hence the 'They saved Hitler's Brain' cryogenic chamber) though in hindsight it comes off more as a barb to the age old discussion of when or where the show 'jumped the shark'. Pesky subconscious. Love me some flat colour and thick squiggle lines.
