Walkman Soundcloud Player

I illustrated one of my favorite music players I had growing up; back when I had to wait by the stereo with a cassette tape ready to record the latest songs, and then pop that into this tank of walkman to listen to music on the go.

I started this in Illustrator, exported as an SVG with the ID names identified via the illustrator groups. From there I used GSAP for the animation and Vue to bind the input field with the audio src. This was connected to the SoundCloud API widget player, hiding the actual widget and just using the player methods.
