The Andromeda Strain | Book Cover

One of my first design projects!

I used a photograph that I had taken of a strange flower (that kind of looked like a pathogen/virus) to use for the cover and design scheme of The Andromeda Strain, a book about a group of scientists investigating a deadly new alien. I then overlaid a purple galaxy photo I had taken to go with the atmosphere of the book, and space (Andromeda, the constellation) and used an elegant typeface to pair with the minimal palette.
