Chicago starter Mike Pelfrey had an impressive outing but a planned limit of five innings hurt the White Sox as Boston immediately bit into their bullpen. Fresh off the disabled list, Pablo Sandoval made his presence felt from the DH spot, going three for four with a run and an RBI to help secure the victory for starter Drew Pomeranz.
