I gotta admit it. I love watching playoff hockey, especially when the Preds are playing. It’s so fast and fluid. Here’s to the Preds making the first Western Conference Finals in their history, and hopefully further!

This piece was pretty fun. I sketched this up at the beginning of the week, and it was quite horrible. It looked like a scary dog with a fu manchu. I then talked through it with @robbwest and he gave me the goalie mask idea. If you aren’t from Nashville, the shape behind the mask is the local Bridgestone Area, with radio tower.

For a year, I am challenging myself to become a better digital Illustrator. I’ll be posting weekly (my goal is each Sunday) and sketching & drawing daily. To give some context, I am marrying the idea with a passion of mine; soccer. I am going to create 52 soccer-styled badges with different themes along the way. I hope you enjoy seeing them.
