A landing page for an idea I had to save us from the endless stream of bullshit articles we constantly consume in the name of 'staying up to date with the industry'.

How many articles a day do you read? I probably average 5 a day which makes that 25 articles a week. (Not all are bullshit I have to say). Would I really be any less a designer If I just read one good newsletter word for word every three months?

Anyway, this is the landing page for Essential Reading, a fictional newsletter which does just that. The design is similarly stripped back to the bare essentials for obvious reasons. So much so you could question the choice of it for a #dailyui piece 😬.

Typeface is Andale Mono.
