Early in 2017, we began brainstorming about originating our own mobile application award service. We created Tappawards, a one-of-a-kind platform that collects and celebrates the most exciting, must-have new applications. We see plenty of design concepts for mobile apps, but 99% of them don't make it to the development stage. To save on time and resources, companies simplify usability and design, blindly following iOS and Android guides. But what worked yesterday may be ineffective and outdated by today's standards. We know this from user stats. This is why it's our job to honor those rockstar developers who always put users first, striving to create unrivaled, high-end applications.
