Lockscreen Widget for Geocaching

Ahoy guys,
I love to be outdoor in nature in my free time. This I usually connect with some geocaching. Do you not know what that is? Then look here!

Anyway, I'm looking for the geocaches mostly with my smartphone. I have already encountered annoying behaviour patterns and I have developed a small solution.

The problem:
I must constantly take my smartphone in my hand and open the geocaching app (and/or unlock my phone) to see the compass or the distance and the direction to the destination. This costs nerves and above all battery.

The solution:
A smart notification which is displayed on the lockscreen as soon as I have started navigating to a geocache. This shows me the direction as well as the distance to the next geocache - the most important information in this context. This saves nerves, but most of all, it saves battery because I do not have to unlock my phone every few minutes and call a certain app.
