The Lily

Recently i had a pleasure to work on this logotype for The Washington post new product. The Lily is an experimental, visually-driven product for millennial women that will boldly reimagine The Washington Post’s award-winning journalism. The Lily is named after the first U.S. newspaper edited by and for women (in 1849).
The aim was to create something edgy, conversational, genuine, smart, curious, influential, empowering, necessary, cathartic and bold in the form of lettering
