Paper Prototyping

For a mobile voter advice app project to be used in Kenya (working at HIIT.fi), I designed and co-ran paper prototype test sessions with potential voters in this young democracy. The low-tech method helped participants feel less anxious about the test itself, and the effort involved in interacting with the prototype helped give us the insights we were seeking around research questions such as how users interacted with long featurephone screen content, slow load times on remote networks, and more.
