New Columbus Flag?

The city of Columbus (where I live and work) is great and constantly getting better. We are the midwest's hotspot for millennials and our arts, culture, and food scene is among the best in the nation.

On top of that we also are home to some big companies in many industries. Columbus is happening.

However, the current flag (see attached) is not happening. Here is my proposed flag and what it means.

1. It is directly modeled after the Ohio state flag, same colors and shapes.

2. The "O" in the blue field of the Ohio flag is now a CO monogram (for, you guessed it, Columbus, Ohio).

3. The center star represents the seat of Ohio's government in Columbus while the other four stars represent the north, south, east, and west points of our rather symmetrical state. This means that what happens in Columbus reverberates throughout Ohio.

It's just a pipe-dream now, but I may try and actually make this happen. After all, a great city deserves a great flag and Columbus is a great city.
