DS Launch Logotype

A while back my team got to build out a brand for DS Launch, a group that specializes in building web-to-print online stores and printed box kits for direct sales companies. The logotype was built from a modified version of Gotham Book Regular, including select rounded terminals for a playful feel and a subtle stroke for contrast. I really liked the way the finished piece displayed: very bold, very refined, and just enough round edges to knock off some seriousness. Because the logotype is boldened but does not have an elongated horizontal plane, it works well on physically branded goods like shirts, pens, and boxes. I made a whole case-study about this project that can be read here: dylanblaty.com/dslaunch
