A Dark & Stormy Night 2016: Save the Date

Big Class is a nonprofit organization dedicated to cultivating and supporting the voices of New Orleans' writers ages 6-18 through creative collaborations with schools and communities.

Big Class is participating in the 826 National Chapter Development Process, with plans to open The Haunting Supply Co.—a store for ghosts—in New Orleans. A Dark and Stormy Night 2016 marked the second fundraising event for The Haunting Supply Co., with products for ghosts, spooky cocktails, and ghost stories for auction by nationally and locally famous writers.

I created the logotype for the event using calligraphy and hand lettering, featured here with custom illustration on the event's Save the Date card.
