I think Sign Up flows are one of the harder things to design for. It's purely utilitarian for the most part, contains no pizzazz, and often contains a deep list of bells (confirmation, recovery flows etc) and whistles (loading, validations etc) that the designer has to pack neatly into an unassuming looking thing. A well done sign up flow looks effortless but you can definitely spot a sloppy one from afar.
I've done this flow almost 3 times over and I hope I did well.
