World surface temperature analysis - details

Some details from a visualisation experiment I'm doing. The chart is very big, here're just two tiny portions :)

The data shows surface temperature changes from 1880 to 2016.
Every vertical line is a year and every dot is a month. The temperature is plotted on the y-axis.
