UTD Web Banner Design

Created a web banner for my school for Round 2 of a job offer I am currently seeking! I opted to include the globe taken from the International Center’s website in the background to allow the viewer to immediately understand the context of the announcement: themes of globalization, inclusiveness, and diversity. iWeek is the secondary focus, with it’s use of the UTD green hue. Third, the viewer will notice the unique “get involved” call to action, which makes use of an arrow to evoke feelings of taking action or movement. Finally, a short explanation of what iWeek is about is placed in white as to not distract from the iWeek logo and call to action, but to compliment and wrap together all three elements in a subtle way.
