I'm giving away 10 copies of View.js (yeah, lots of winners!)!

Just rebound this shot with a link to View and make a collage using (loosely) any letters (or the full word) "VIEW" and any of the photos on the View.js site — which is exactly what I did here using Cory Godbey's amazing illustration work.

Top 8 rebounds (by votes) and 2 of my choosing will win copies of View.js.

Contest ends end of the day this Friday, Nov 18.

    Annnd the winners are:

    By highest # of votes

    1. Alex Patrascu
    2. Joshua Bullock
    3. Kevin Clark
    4. Jonathan Ogden
    5. Ethan Geyer
    6. Bob Roman
    7. Olly Sorsby
    8. Andrea Pasotti

    ...Anddd by my choosing

First off: awesome! Excited to see what shots come from this.

Now, maybe this isn't the place to ask, but… as I was scrolling through the fantastical posters I came across one striking illustration that seemed to be the scene where Eowyn slays the Nazgûl. Am I right? If so, it's one of my favorite moments in literature and it's breathtaking. #nerdalert

@Courtney I thought that too! I'm not sure, but it sure seems like that scene. Maybe ask Cory Godbey?

Do we need to use one of the photos on the site, or can we just do a custom thing?

@Jonathan use one of the photos on the site, but you can warp it, blend it or do whatever, heck, you could set the opacity to 1% and blend it in an overlay mode for texture :)

  14. Check out Rogie's super awesome slider called View.js - it's made of tasty sauce and is scientifically proven to make people gasp and/or spit out whatever beverage they happen to be drinking at the time of viewing.*

  16. Incase you all don't know about View.js by this guy named Rogie, you should probably check it out. Because, as a male, I know macho things, and this ... this is a macho thing. It takes your pictures, which are sad and lonely, and makes them awesomely happy with an abundance of friends. Cool friends, with money, lots of money, and cars ... maybe some lady friends? Who knows if they even have time for ladies since they are busy being awesome?

It basically makes you jealous of your pictures because they become better than you.
