CCSIO Bench, live capture

It's alive! Here's a live capture of CCSIO Benchmark tool.

Tried it with graphs (as in the original shot) and it didn't quite cut it. Graph looks cool, but it was ultimately useless, so opted for displaying raw measurement feed instead.

In short, this benchmark reads a very large file using all possible permutations of various IO buffer sizes, buffer counts and different IO modes.

I've been playing with it for a couple of weeks now and there are some drives where a seemingly random combination delivers a 20-30% bump in read speed over all other options (that was one of the Lexar's flash drives).

In any case, there is a couple of smaller things left, then will need to throw together a website for it and it'll go live. Not long now.
