One of my favorite projects from this last year was our branding and design work for Fauna. Their next-generation database is built to rapidly adapt and safely scale—ideas that led us to this juxtaposition of modern gradients and turn-of-the-century zoology.
To make the brand even more adaptable we isolated specific sections of the gradient spectrum to be used across separate printed materials like the team's business cards—and even built a system to change the website's color scheme based on the specific time of day.
The end result is a system that feels unified and defined, but always changing—just like Fauna.
