UX Improv #1 - Amazon Prime Video (3/3)

Continuing the first episode of UXImprov - One of the important features of Amazon Prime Video or any other video streaming service for that matter is Offline Storage.

Offline storage is important since it assures you that the episode you're about to watch is downloaded and won't consume your data on the go. This is important in a country such as India where data is expensive and carriers charge a ton for using a little.

A Separate section for Downloads was covered in the previous shot. Now, if the user is offline (poor connectivity/ no internet/ airplane mode) - the app will automatically default to the downloads section where the user will be able to see the movies/shows they've already downloaded.

The color change is intentional. Blue signifies trust and hence assures the user the content is not downloaded and will not be streamed (green).
