partridge in a pear tree

I grew up celebrating the 12 Days of Christmas all wrong. My parents would leave a small gift in my stocking the twelve days before Christmas even though the season technically starts on Christmas day. Oh well. I will keep up with my family tradition and start the Twelve Days of Christmas today.
