Nate McClain (American, 1973 - 1997) "The Magician", 1997 33 in x 50 in

Original surreal painting depicting a magic show with a magician puling a sock out of hat for an audience of various dogs including a Great Dane, Dalmatian, & Chihuahua. This is one of McClain's larger scale pieces which he built a custom wooden frame to contain. McClain was 23 years old when he created this artwork while at the Art Lofts in downtown St. Louis, MO.
