History of Leadership - The Feudal King

Part of an effort to revise and expand NationBuilder.com’s “Vision” section, the History of Leadership page was just begging for some illustrations to highlight the various iterations of leadership through time.

This illustration of the feudal king, a man with a crown sitting on the throne, is a reference to the leadership model used for most of human history, in which legitimate rulers are born into power and challenged only by others with the same legitimate claim.
