Connected devices are becoming increasingly popular. Viewers are confronted with sophisticated new technology like smart TV, connected TV and set top boxes in their home.

Many considerations need to be taken into account while doing the user research in this area, such as the ease of use of the remote control, the UI and setting up the devices.

In addition, in-depth user behaviour research like dairy studies and ethonography can be a plus too.
