Mobilize Brand Guide

Here’s another look into the Mobilize brand guideline book!

What’s a brand promise? A brand promise is the backbone to every great company. When it’s different and relevant, you can really engage your audience on a much higher level. It acts as the north star for design and becomes very influential in product and company decisions. If you’re planning to release a new feature for your product, ask yourself - does this really fulfill the brand’s promise?

Most clients say, “I want a brand like Nike” but it’s very rare they actually know what that means! The key is to take your audience to a higher place beyond the product. Nike rarely talks about their products, instead they shine a light on inspiring athletes, pulling customers in on an emotional level.

I don’t remember the last time I built a brand identity without establishing their positioning first. If you don’t, you are driving their identity into no man’s land - which I see a lot. Create a north star for that company. They’ll be able to do much more with that rather than slapping a logo everywhere.
