My latest prototype design for user testing.
We've found, historically, that users that watch a demo video understand PayPal much better and don't get hung up in the sign up process when we ask for personal details and payment information.
We've played around with placement and prominence of the "Watch Video" button but we've never gotten more than a few percent of visitors to engage.
This test is an attempt to drive views to the max and see: 1. How the numbers stand up with users that didn't initiate the video themselves, and 2. How users behave when a video is playing when the sites loads.
My prediction is that this is going to drive people crazy and we've probably gone too far but I'm interested in seeing the results.
