COW League Logo (Competitive Overwatch)

The Competitive Community for Overwatch exploded very quickly after the game was released, even before there was a competitive mode implemented.

The Reddit community /r/CompetitiveOverwatch sprang up, and with it, the accompanying Discord Channel and Competitive Overwatch League.

I worked with the founding team of community leaders to create the COW League branding and Logo.

There were many different versions of the logo that we tossed back and forth, and decided on a simple shield, which was instantly recognizable.

A few evolutions of the final design theme can be seen in the "COW Versions" attachment, as well as my personal favorite which was not used. (The version with bold slanted text, emerging from the borders).
