Bloom in Motion

A motion representation of the visual effect that the Bloom graphic has when a piece of lines acetate is dragged across its surface.

Inspired by the moiré effect, derived from the print history of Clerkenwell, the graphic is an aesthetically pleasing stand-alone piece, yet packs a stuning punch in application.

The graphic graces the front of the kitchen and bar menus, and comes to life in a 'bloom' inspired motion as it is pulled out of its bespoke lined-acetate housing. The visual result is what is displayed here.

A lengthy research project, yet an infinitely rewarding result. A certain favourite in my portfolio.
