"Dédé aka the machinegun lover"

Working on a new logo for our own use (we are working on some really short tutorials). I'm just wondering if I should keep all those shadows cause I'm not sure right now (I think though I'll keep the text's shadow and the inner shadow on the logo's edge). The color is not defined now, I'll see if I use a slight gradient or a tint area and if I add some texture. :)
