I've been going back and forth between designs and ideas for a new piece for my portfolio, I've finally decided on an idea and have been working the past few weeks towards completing it. This is an application to help navigate through Canada's Great Trail - a trail that begins in the west coast and stretches all the way to the east coast.

Within this concept, the user will be able to map and track different trails to explore, they are able to publish stories along the way as well as send out alerts to notify other users of damaged trails / animal sightings / inclement weather / etc. The user will also be able to track their vitals by using the heat from their finger tip to calculate heart beats per second as well as their temperature. The user also has history of their past trails traveled, stats of what trail they are currently on and current trails they plan to explore.
