Derus cards

Our first piece created for the Derus campaign, allowing Mike to make connections and leave something behind that is memorable and informative.

My brother-in-law is running for district 6 parks commissioner for the 2017 Minneapolis election. We're starting to get his name out there early. I'm working with him as his brand specialist—creating a brand that is fresh, identifiable, genuine and thoughtful. Mike is a young candidate that wants to make a lot of positive change in the Minneapolis Parks system. He's running for district 6—which is the southwest corner of Minneapolis. That's including parks and neighborhoods around the lakes (Calhoun and Harriet) such as—West Calhoun, East Harriet, Linden Hills, Fulton, Lynnhurst—and other great areas—Kenny, Armatage, Windom, Tangletown, Lyndale and Carag. While Mike's focus is about improving the overall parks system, he care most about his area—the people, the neighborhoods and parks of district 6. We want something that is going to inform people where this is.

This is just one of many pieces that we'll be making for the campaign. And we're excited about the possibilities of future brand initiatives, events, literature, and messaging. Stay on the look out.

In the mean time, we have just a cover page up on the website—there's much more to come on this in the next few months. If you're in Minneapolis and a part of any of these neighborhoods—and you feel so inclined—feel free to get in touch with Mike about any ideas or concerns about the parks system and community.
