Here's an example of how to get curved animations within Principle.
Didn't have a lot of time to tweak the curves and dive into the different points, but I timed it out the best I could.
As you can see as long as the X and Y animations take the same amount of time, and you stagger either axis, the result will be a curve rather than a straight line.
