Health Design Challenge: Redesigning the patient health record

As a small team of designers and health educators we were given the opportunity to take part in a design challenge sponsored by Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology. The challenge was to redesign the existing text-only medical record used by the Department of Veterans Affairs. I was responsible for the overall creative direction, visual design and iconography.
