Big Papi’s monster two-run homer in the first inning turned out to be all the Sox needed to take down the Tampa Bay Rays and win their ninth straight game. With those two runs, David Ortiz set the record for most RBIs by a player in their last year, overtaking Shoeless Joe Jackson who held the record since 1920.
