Travelbird Blog

Last year, I re-designed the TravelBird blog from scratch. Before, many previous designers attempted it and resulted in different styles here and there. There was not enough direction and agreement between stakeholders, so it never went live.

The design is clean and simple, and focuses on the photos and the stories themselves. The color palette is the same as the TravelBird website, with primary blue and secondary orange accents.

This project took me about 4 months, from concepts, sketches, wireframes, verifying designs with Product Owners and UX Lead, mockups, to pixel-perfecting details with front-end developers.

The biggest challenge was that this template will be used for all countries and languages (10+), so the template had to fit various scenarios. It was also a challenge to use design and code to set up hidden rules so the blog authors can't make the blog go wrong when they're adding random things to the articles.
